Try to answer the following question?: How often are your mind and body doing the same thing at the same time?
For example 1) while you are driving is your mind is driving? 2) while you are watching TV is your mind watching it also? What about when you are in your bed before sleeping, brushing your teeth, in the subway, cutting the grass, eating, working out, waiting for your flight or even at your desk at 2pm on Friday?
The answer: Almost never.

Complaining about an issue that required attention and solution is perfectly OK.
But how often do you complain knowing very well there is usually nothing one can do about or, that your listener doesn’t care too much about your statement?
So, there are two types of complains: the former is rational and the later more emotional.

Deep in our subconscious mind, the role of our ego is to protect, to enhance and to please the “self” and its image. Unfortunately, it is also the main culprit of our unhappiness and dissatisfactions through endless desires, negative feelings, expectations and illusions. We talked about these many times.
Our ego identifies itself from three majors sources, which define its structure and content.
Today we will talk only about identification with things.
